most plastic cutlery is made from a type of plastic known as polystyrene.

polystyrene or expanded polystyrene is more commonly referred to as styrofoam.

it is very difficult to recycle Styrofoam.

most counties simply do not offer styrofoam recycling and thus plastic cutlery that is put into a recycling bin is usually just sorted out at the recycling facility and sent to a landfill.

in a nutshell, you won't regret bringing a Spork home!

Ultratape Plant-Based Clear Biotape is an eco-friendly and sustainable alternative to traditional plastic tapes. Clear cellulose film made from plants, coated with ecofriendly water based acrylic adhesive. Certified compostable EN13432. Adheres to paper, metal, glass and most plastic surfaces.

Since it's compostable, not for archival use as tape will wilt in sunlight and degrade over time, perfect for gifts etc. Packaging is 100% recycled & 100% recyclable.
