Dr Tara Shine is an expert in the field of climate change and climate justice with a passion for communicating her science and her positive vision for the future. She has advised world leaders, governments, multilateral agencies and civil society organisations on climate change, environmental policy and development assistance.  Formerly Special Advisor to the Mary Robinson Foundation - Climate Justice and Adviser to The Elders, Tara has recently been announced the incoming Chair of the International Institute of Environment and Development (IIED). She knows the inside world of the international climate change negotiations as well as the role that business plays in shaping and delivering sustainable development. 

Tara is Co-Founder and Director of the award winning social enterprise, Change by Degrees, which educates and inspires people at home, at work and in their community to live more sustainably.

To keep it as pure as possible, Pure menstrual cup is made of 100% medical grade silicone, without any additional colorants. Being inert and as such in complete harmony with your body, it catches your flow for up to 12 hours. Keep it sterilised, rinse it between inserts, and start enjoying your nights, yoga and swimming lessons while menstruating.

We have two different sizes:

Small
62 mm (h) x 40 mm (l) – It holds up to 20 ml. 

Large
65 mm (h) x 45 mm (l) – It holds up to 25 ml. Recommended for menstruators over 30 years and/or delivered children.

If you have a size S nudie cup and it continually moves around or leaks, then it may be that you need a larger size (an M or L).

If this is the case, please get in touch and we'll send you a larger size, free of charge.

If you find the size L leaks, pelvic floor exercises can be very effective at strengthening the muscles that hold period cups in place.

> S The diameter of the small is 38mm and the overall length including the pebble is 56mm with an 18ml capacity. Perfect for users under the age of 18.

> M The diameter of the medium is 42mm and the overall length including the pebble is 61mm with a 24ml capacity. Perfect for if you are aged 18 to 30 and have not given birth vaginally.

> L The diameter of the large is 46mm and the overall length including the pebble is 66mm with a 32ml capacity. Perfect if you have given birth vaginally or are over 30 years old.
