About Our Plantable Envelope
Our plantable seeded paper is a unique handmade paper produced using 100% unprinted waste paper with seed inclusions. The standard seed mix contains a range of meadow grasses and wildflower seeds. The meadow grasses include Brown Top Bent, Red Fescue, Meadow Fescue, Crested Dog Tail & Smooth Stalked Meadow Grass. The wildflower seeds include Birdsfoot Trefoil, Black Knapweed, Black Medick, Common Vetch, Meadow Buttercup, Musk Mallow, Ox Eye Daisy, Ribwort Campion, Self Heal, White Campion & Yarrow.

Eco friendly and plantable greeting cards made in Ireland with love. 

All of the packaging used is either compostable or recycled/recyclable. From the kraft brown envelopes, corn starch bio plastic bags that I put the cards into, to the compostable sticker labels.

Note: Seeds are not guaranteed to germinate and are determined by many factors in growing: light, heat, compost etc. If your flowers don’t grow, know that you have chosen an eco friendly, Irish product that is compostable and will biodegrade, reducing our waste and impact on the environment.

Made from a recycled paper pulp which whilst drying has living seeds added to it – Birdsfoot Trefoil, Black Knapweed, Black Medick, Meadow Buttercup, Musk Mallow, Ox-Eye-Daisy, Ribworth Plantain, Red Campion, Slad Burnet, Self Heal, White Campion, and Yarrow.

Bury it under 2cm of soil, water it, and watch your wildflowers bloom! These instructions are printed on the card also.

The image is drawn with black ink and handpainted with watercolours and altered using photoshop to make bright illustrations.
