Say hello to our very own collection of Irish Wildflower Seeds!
Because yes, it's that time of the year...
Wildflowers allow you to create an eco-friendly area that will attract birds and pollinators such as bees, butterflies and other little insects.
Start by clearing the ground before lightly forking it over to a depth of 15-20cm. Next, use a rake to create a fine path and to smooth off any lumps, bumps or hollows as well as to remove any garden debris that could prevent your beautiful meadow seed from germinating.
Sprinkle seeds over the ground you have prepared and then water your planted area.
Keep your soil evenly moist while the seeds are growing. Seeds will usually germinate in 1-2 week - how beautiful is that?
I've recently learned that a new meadow wants a soil which is very low in nutrients so don't apply any fertiliser before sowing your wildflower seeds.
